Uniquely South Whidbey Trade Fair moves to Bayview

The Uniquely South Whidbey Trade Fair will be held in Bayview this year, organizers of the annual event announced Monday.

The trade fair will be held at Bayview Community Hall on Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept. 18. It’s moving from its two-year home at the Island County Fairgrounds to a location closer to the geographic heart of South Whidbey.

Goosefoot is organizing this year’s fair, which is sponsored by the Port of South Whidbey and the Clinton, Freeland and Langley chambers of commerce.

“We’re just tremendously excited by the opportunity to host it this year and look forward to an excellent display of local entrepreneurial spirit,” said Debbie Torget, executive director of Goosefoot.

The trade show highlights South End businesses, and is open to  those operating out of a storefront, garage or spare room.

In addition to showcasing products and services to attendees, there will be hands-on workshops for vendors organized by the three chambers.
