Since the Washington state tourism office closed on June 30, what does the future look like? Island County Tourism will host a discussion with Bill Bryant, president of the Port of Seattle, on Thursday, July 7 to hear about new opportunities in tourism, how it impacts the local economy and how to get involved.

The presentation follows the normal monthly business meeting of Island County Tourism, which runs from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Coupeville Rec Hall.

The public should plan to arrive at 11:30 a.m.; RSVP at Sherrye@IslandCountyTourism.com or 360-675-5412.
