The annual meeting of the Bayview Farmers Market Association begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Wellington Day School, 5719 Pioneer Park Pl., Langley (at the former House of Prayer).
Members will elect officers, review and approve the 2013 budget and hear plans for the upcoming year. All members, including prospective new vendors are encouraged to attend.
Up for election this year will be the organization’s vice president and board members representing various market categories.
Among the items scheduled to be discussed will be an updated website, continuation of a market shopping bag program, and this year’s program of chef’s demonstrations.
The opening bell for this year’s first market will be at 10 am Saturday, April 27.
The market will continue, rain or shine, through October 26 at Bayview Corner.
This year vendors are being sought in all categories: farmers, producers, hot food vendors and artisans. Applications for the 2013 season can be download at the group’s website: www.bayviewfarmersmarket.com
