Shop to violin music at Tilth Farmers Market in Bayview
Violin virtuoso Alex Bonesteel performs live from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Whidbey Tilth Farmers Market on Sunday, May 26. He plays a wide range of lively Celtic to classical music.
While listing to the music, stock up for Memorial Day with vegetable and salad ingredients, lots of fresh spinach, lettuce, arugula, leeks, rhubarb and more. Local farmers have vegetable plant starts for the home gardener. Visiting friends, check out the handiwork of the craft vendors for a hostess gift.
Enjoy Southeast Asian as well as African cuisine served hot on site as well as hot organic coffee, chilled lemonade and more. The Tilth Sustainability campus includes picnic tables, a children's play area and wooded pathways. There is plenty of parking, and dogs on leash are welcome. It is located at 2812 Thompson Road off Highway 525 about two miles from Freeland.
