"Langley High School graduate Frank Robinson has donated another million dollars. A few years ago he gave that amount to provide scholarships to South Whidbey High School graduates attending the University of Washington. This time, he has donated a million to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum's new facility under construction at Dulles Airport.Robinson, owner and founder of Robinson Helicopter Co., based in Torrance, Calif., said the donation will assure that helicopters are on display at the nation's most prestigious museum. Robinson Helicopter manufactures the two-seat R22 and four-seat R44 helicopters. The company employs 880 people and plans to add a new 130,000-square-foot building to its existing 260,000-square-foot manufacturing plant. The company was recently named to the Los Angeles Business Journal list of The 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the area. The aircraft are used in 67 countries and are the world's two most popular helicopters. Robinson attributes his company's success to its ability to provide quality, high performance helicopters at a reasonable price. "
