Bellingham firm gets shop bid award

Island County commissioners approved a bid award to Ebenal General, Inc. for the expansion of the Bayview Road Shop equipment storage building on Monday.

The Bellingham-based company’s bid was $95,392; the lowest of eight submitted.

The other bidders were Wolf Industries, Inc. ($106,774); Nautilus Construction and Management ($117,915); Lang Custom Concrete and Construction, Inc. ($109,867); Scimitar Construction, Inc. ($103,300); Eagle Building Co. ($121,739); Larry Brown Construction ($119,033); and Myers General Commercial Corp. ($111,652).
