Quilting by the Sea fabric store in Langley will have an open house today to introduce new owner Laurie Davenport.

As a newcomer to quilting, Davenport wants to hear from customers about what they want to see in the store, said current owner Carol Boer.

The open house will be from 1 to 4 p.m.; the store is at 221 Second St., Suite 6 in Langley.

Regular store hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

For information, call 221-8171, e-mail quilting@whidbey.com or visit www.quiltingbythesea.com.
