Bids received for Island County Fairgrounds dump station

Island County commissioners will consider accepting a bid Monday for building a new RV dump station at the county fairgrounds in Langley.

Two bids were received on the project. Island Asphalt/Sitework Inc. submitted a bid for $55,700, and Todd Nysether Construction of Clinton gave a bid of $47,709 for the work.

As the lowest bidder, Todd Nysether Construction is expected to get the bid award.

The county has estimated that the project would cost $63,055 to construct.

The commissioners meet at 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11 in Room 102B in the Island County Annex Building, 1 NE Sixth St., Coupeville.
