Clinton chamber hosts nonprofit panel

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is holding a panel discussion to highlight the partnership between businesses and nonprofits in the community.

The event is set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

The chamber has invited local nonprofits — including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Island County, Good Cheer, Readiness to Learn, Helping Hands and many more — to speak about their work and how businesses can support them in their mission.

“The health of our businesses and the health of the individuals and families in our communities are inseparably linked,” said organizer Sherryl Christie-Bierschenk. “We invite you to join us to learn how to continue to strengthen the partnerships between our service organizations, our businesses and our community members.”

Dinner will be available for $8. For more information, contact the chamber at info@clintonchamberofcommerce.org or call 341-3929.
