Rep. Smith to speak to Clinton chamber

State Rep. Norma Smith will be the speaker at the Clinton Chamber of Commerce meeting in April.

Smith, a 10th District Republican who represents Whidbey Island, will give an overview of the legislative session, including the budget, a review of new legislation passed, and the state of businesses and economic issues in the state of Washington.

After her presentation, she will open it up for a question-and-answer session.

The meeting is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at La Casita in Ken’s Korner. The cost will be $12 for dinner. Contact the chamber at info@clinton
