Transport Whidbey is proposing a cooperative business entity that would create green jobs, support existing businesses with clean transportation efforts and help budding businesses to succeed. The kickoff meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 7 in the Freeland Library meeting room.

This will be primarily an informational meeting, explaining what a cooperative is and how the Clean Energies Co-op might function within the community.

All are welcome, but space is limited. RSVP to Joel Kennedy at altfuel@sound.whidbey.com, indicating with name and level of interest (e.g. personal, business, etc.), or visit www.TransportWhidbey.org for more information.
