Island County sheriff to talk crime to chamber

Island County Sheriff Mark Brown will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce.

Brown will discuss how the county’s current budgetary issues have impacted the level of police service in Island County.

Robert Harkins of Whidbey Telecom Security and Alarms will also give a short presentation on the company’s available services.

The meeting will be held at Pickle’s Deli from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1. The cost for dinner is $13 and the general public is welcome; RSVP to info@discoverclintonwa.com.
