Kalakala Co. Mercantile is closing its doors indefinitely today with a farewell fête.

Co-owners Drew Christie and Amanda Moore said in a statement on Wednesday that they will focus their creative powers on Drew Christie Animation & Illustration, a professional animation business.

“Thank you for sipping our beverages, listening to our music, enjoying our meals, and sharing our table,” the announcement said. “This journey has taken us far past where our imaginations alone could lead us.”

People are invited to stop by and say hello before their doors close.
