Island Athletic Club’s group fitness director, Chizue Rudd, recently earned certification as an instructor of STOTT Pilates, adding to the many ways she helps people achieve their health and fitness goals. In addition to being a certified personal trainer and Zumba instructor, Chizue has more than 30 years of experience teaching group exercise in the U.S. and Japan. To obtain certification as an instructor, she completed more than 300 hours of training and apprenticeship.
Chizue said she looks forward to bringing this “incredible, body-changing discipline to the South Whidbey Community.” STOTT PILATES exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and rebalance the muscles around the joints.
Island Athletic Club offers individual and semi-private STOTT Pilates sessions to club members and non-members.
