December 21, 2010 · Updated 1:07 PM
Boy Scout Troop 14 will hold its Christmas tree recycle fundraiser at the end of the month, and is now taking names for the annual Earth-friendly event.
The fundraiser helps the Scouts pay for their summer camps and hikes. This season, pick-up days will be held from Monday, Dec. 27 to Saturday, Jan. 8.
To schedule a pick-up, e-mail troop14@whidbey.com or call 221-8816 and leave a message. Leave your name, address, pick-up date and phone number.
On the morning of your pick-up day, leave your tree by the curb with your donation. Donations can also be mailed to Troop 14, PO Box 1051, Freeland, WA 98249.
The suggested donation is $10.
