Friends of Freeland has updated its website to reflect the increase in projects the group has undertaken, said executive director Mike Dolan.

The new website is http://www.friendsoffreeland.org.

The group, founded in 2001 to acquire wetlands around the community, has accumulated 46 acres in the past five years, Dolan said.

The group also is involved in a number of community projects involving beautification, pathways and trails and planting boxes and benches.

For more info, call Dolan at 360-359-0568, or e-mail execdir@friendsoffreeland.org.
