The Whidbey Island Branch of the American Association of University Women is offering a $1,500 grant to one graduating female student from each of the three high schools on Whidbey Island.

To apply for a grant, a qualifying student must have achieved a minimum 3.5 grade-point average and have plans to attend a four-year accredited college or university.

For application forms and details, students should contact their high school counselors.

The application must be submitted to the high school counseling office by March 18.
