Meeting set for new credit union on Whidbey

A meeting to explore the possibility of setting up a credit union for Whidbey Island residents will be next month in Freeland.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church’s Grigware Hall.

Organizer Duke LeBaron of Bayview proposes a Whidbey Island Credit Union “of, by and for islanders.”
