United Way honors volunteers

United Way of Island County will hold its annual meeting and volunteer recognition next week at the CPO Club in Oak Harbor.

Jackie Henderson of Island County Human Services will be the keynote speaker, and will give the talk, “The Mental Health System in Island County.”

The meeting is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 9. Attendees should RSVP by March 4 by calling 360-675-1778 or e-mailing assistant@uwic.comcastbiz.net.
