Jump rope benefit is a success

The recent “Jump Rope for Heart” event at South Whidbey High School raised $894 for heart-disease research.

The action-packed fundraiser, which included jumping rope but also other healthy activities such as basketball, trail running and more, was held on Feb. 26 at the high school. Money raised from the event is being donated to the American Heart Association.
