The South Whidbey Yacht Club welcomes past Commodore Derek Pritchard to its meeting tonight, and Pritchard will illustrate his circumnavigation of the British Isles.

His program will highlight the sailing challenges of the fog-shrouded and dangerous currents encountered on the voyage. He will also comment on the unusual customs and cuisine of the native people of the British Isles.

The club meets at 6:30 for sips and dips, with the presentation at 7 p.m., at the  Honeymoon Lake Community Clubhouse, 4343 Honeymoon Bay Road, Greenbank.

For further information, call Tom Stinson at 331-1084.
