South Whidbey School District holds kindergarten information night

A kindergarten information night will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28 in the gym at the elementary school.

Parents can get information on the South Whidbey School District’s options for kindergarden, which include K-first-grade classes five days a week from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and morning or afternoon kindergarten classes that also run five days a week. The district is no longer offering the alternating day program.

Student registration for kindergarten is from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 12 in the community room at the elementary school.

Kindergarten screening is from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. on May 19. Appointment sign-up times can be made during registration.
