Clinton Water District gets a new face

Clinton Water District Commissioners Roy Simmons and Maury Hood welcomed new Commissioner Kitty Adams, who was recently appointed to the district’s board. Adams takes over from retiring Commissioner Joan Nelson, who was a member of the board for nearly 18 years.

Adams was appointed in February and assumed commissioner duties in March, and Nelson was feted earlier this month at a retirement event at the water district office.
