The family of Erin Flynn is very happy to announce her marriage to Sam Larson on April 23, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Flynn is the daughter of Kären and Bob Grossman of Langley and Dennis Flynn of Berkeley, Calif. Larson is the son of Emily Larson of Port Angeles and Seattle, and the late Jeep Larson.

Flynn graduated from South Whidbey High School in 1995 and from the University of Washington in 2001. She currently works at a restaurant in Seattle.

Larson graduated from a high school in Tacoma and owns a car repair shop in Ballard. The couple met when Flynn bought a used car which immediately started breaking down and took it into Larson’s shop near her home.

At the wedding, Flynn’s sister Cairi, along with two of her best friends from South Whidbey, were her “best maids” and three of Larson’s best friends stood up as his “best men.” They have no immediate plans for a honeymoon.

The newlyweds plan to settle in West Seattle.
