Mark Heggenes and Victoria Lim will join hands in marriage in August atop a mountain near Leavenworth.

Al and Mary Jane Heggenes of Twisp, formerly of Whidbey Island, are proud to announce the upcoming marriage of their son Mark Heggenes to Victoria Lim, daughter of the late Normita S. Lim, and Victorino and Angela Lim of Maple Valley.

The couple met more than three years ago at a mutual friend’s birthday party, and as they say, the rest is history.

Name an extreme sport: mountaineering, skydiving, spelunking, and chances are the pair have tried it together. The adventurous duo enjoy the outdoors and love to hike, cycle and snowboard.

 

Naturally, the couple will wed atop a mountain near Leavenworth, in a small, intimate ceremony on

Aug. 12, 2011. Following their honeymoon in Greece, the soon-to-be newlyweds will continue to reside in Kirkland.
