Langley Masonic Lodge No. 218 recently awarded three junior scholarships to South Whidbey High School students at China City.

The recipients were Marina Kovic, Holly Huey and Makenzie Peterson.

Kovic received a scholarship for $1,000; Huey, $500; and Peterson, $500. The South Whidbey Masonic Scholarship Trust Fund awards scholarships to juniors attending public schools on South Whidbey, who complete a simple scholarship form and receive a recommendation from a teacher.

The 2012 scholarship forms will be available in early October at South Whidbey High School, via Susan Koffkin.
