Don and Janet Steadman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this month.

The couple married July 23, 1961 in Tacoma.

Their five children attended the service along with family and friends. Their honeymoon was spent in San Francisco, Calif. and on Sunlight Beach here on the island.

The Steadmans now live at the Village at Useless Bay. A small group of friends will join them to celebrate their big anniversary.
