Eloise and Robert Taylor celebrate their golden anniversary Aug. 13 in Bayview.

Robert and Eloise Taylor were married Aug. 11, 1961 at Mount Olive Church in Ballard. They took their honeymoon in a 9-foot travel trailer to Pacific Beach.

The Taylors’ first home was in Edmonds, and they moved to Freeland in 1978 where they still reside today.

Friends and family are invited to help them celebrate at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at the American Legion Hall on Highway 525.
