Genealogy society will give an overview of classes today

The Genealogy Society of South Whidbey Island will meet at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12 in the community building at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.

The meeting will start with an overview of the monthly beginning and intermediate education classes, followed by Jane Wilson, the society’s librarian, explaining the new library location and procedures.

Speaker Doreen Johnson will also “How to Access and Use Webinars and Podcasts for Genealogical Research.”
