A warm welcome goes to Laszlo Pierre McDowell, born Aug. 20, 2011 at the Greenbank Birth Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21.5 inches long.

Laszlo’s parents are Lucy Brennan and Matt McDowell; his grandparents are Anne Ferry and Patrick Brennan of Langley, and John and Suzy McDowell of Lake Stevens.

Midwife Cynthia Jaffe and student midwife Crystal Ogle attended the birth. Special thanks to Sarah McDowell and Leah Black for their help during the birth.
