Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens is looking for people to help put a shine on Whidbey Island’s garden gem.

Volunteers are needed for nursery planting, shaping, dead heading and weeding. Greeters and office help is always in demand, as are people with sign-making and computer expertise.

The nonprofit is also recruiting capable individuals who can help direct the garden’s public relations, marketing and fundraising activities.

For more information, call 360-678-1912 or 360-222-0121 or email meerkerk@whidbey.net.
