A spaghetti fundraiser will be held Saturday to raise money for this year’s Mobile Turkey Unit.

The Mobile Turkey Unit is a group of volunteers who for the past 14 years have purchased, prepared and delivered Thanksgiving Dinners to hundreds of those in need.

To help pay for the rising number of South Whidbey residents who are in need, the Eagle’s Aerie will host the benefit dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.

The event will also feature live music by Steve Ellis from 6 to 9 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12.

As a membership drive this event is open to the community and 100 percent of the proceeds go to the Mobile Turkey Unit.

The Eagle’s Aerie is located on Highway 525 one mile south of Double Bluff Road. For more information, call the Eagle’s at 321-5636 or Janice Martinovic at 321-4692.
