Fallon and Ben Criswell proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Caela Mae, born at home in Freeland Oct. 6, 2011.

Caela weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20½ inches long.

She is welcomed by her big brothers Kieran Birchfield and Cowan Criswell. Her maternal grandparents are Elizabeth Birchfield of Langley and the late Michael Birchfield. Her paternal grandparents are Bill and Stephanie Criswell of Freeland.

Midwives Cynthia Jaffe and Ashley Howell attended the birth.
