South Whidbey Lions Treasurer and scholarship chairman Rosemary Martin congratulates scholarship recipients David R. Kay and Alissa Coupe, both 2011 South Whidbey High School graduates. Kay is the son of Corinne Rouse-Kay of Clinton and attends the University of Washington where he studies health sciences with the objective of gaining a master’s degree in medicine.  Coupe is the daughter of John Coupe of Greenbank and Jim and Nancy Thelen of Freeland and attends Washington State University for engineering. The South Whidbey Lions are honored to support the community’s outstanding students in their higher education goals and wish them every success.
