Kiwanis host former official today in Freeland

The Kiwanis of South Whidbey will host the district’s former governor Frank Morehouse. He launched the Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program that covers three hospitals in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia, Canada. Morehouse started the program in 2010 to raise money and awareness to find a cure for children’s cancer.

Kiwanis is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children.

The club meets at Trinity Lutheran Church at noon Thursday, Nov. 3.
