Firefighters of Fire District 3 will host a free pancake breakfast at the Clinton station on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Volunteer firefighters will flip flapjacks and show folks around the station. They’ll also teach anyone how to program in case of emergency (ICE) numbers into cell phones.

“You can spend some exciting time eating pancakes, and hear what it takes to join our team,” said Fire Chief Rusty Palmer. Live fire

demonstrations are also planned to show children and adults how to use fire extinguishers.

The tasty tours begin at 8 a.m. and end around noon. The station is located at 6435 Central Ave.
