First responders get sweet thanks on South Whidbey | KUDOS

Windermere Real Estate broker Christina Moats presents cupcakes to firefighters of Island County Fire District 3 this past Wednesday.

Moats took the treats to the Freeland station in recognition of National Thank First Responders Day, Nov. 30.

The lucky responders representing the fire district who were on hand to enjoy the baked sweets are Candace Shields, Ken Starkweather, Paul Busch, Mike Cotton, Rusty Palmer and Jon Beck.
