Unity of Whidbey message on Sunday is 'All You Are Is Love'

December 9, 2011 · Updated 6:55 AM

Chris Nelson will give the talk "All You Are Is Love" at the Unity of Whidbey service on Sunday.

Nelson will help celebrate Advent as Love. Christmas, Jesus’ birth celebration, is a time to look within and see oneself in the Christmas Love Story. We give gifts as symbols of love, but we are the love. We hold memories of Christmas past and can feel sad; people who we have celebrated with us are no longer visible in our lives; we can’t hug them and we miss them, but their light still shines.

Some forget that love is not in the past, it is right now in our hearts and is the greatest gift of all.

Tadd CharetteNunn and Diane Burgess will offer the musical inspiration and Donna Vanderheiden will be the platform assistant.

All are welcome. The service is 10 a.m. Sunday at Unity's church at 5671 Crawford Road.
