'Rebellious Gratitude' is the topic at UUCWI's Sunday service

December 10, 2011 · Updated 10:43 AM

Gratitude is a good thing - it calms us and softens our hearts. But what happens when we are hurting and we can't get to gratitude? Is gratitude possible in those circumstances?

At the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island on Sunday, Debra Thorne, ministerial intern at the Port Townsend Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, will explore these issues.

All are welcome. Values-based children’s religious exploration classes and childcare will be provided. The service is at 10 am at 20103 Highway 525, just north of Freeland. Check www.whidbey.com/uucwi for more information.
