December 10, 2011 · 10:47 AM

Are you into video games? Have you ever wanted to create your own game?

If so, South Whidbey Connects, a nonprofit organization for the development of digital media technology and commercial enterprise for South Whidbey, wants to talk to you.

The group will host its first meeting at 11 a.m. today in the Backroom at the South Whidbey Commons in Langley.

The meeting will be a discussion on how they will create a new game company that is owned and staffed by the young adults (high school juniors or older) of South Whidbey, mentored by seasoned industry professionals.
