Rev. Becker speaks at Unity service

December 16, 2011 · Updated 9:50 AM

Rev. Patty Becker will give the talk “Come Dancer, Come Prancer, Come Cupid and Joy!” at the Unity of Whidbey service on Sunday.

Rev. Becker will lean an exploration of finding the underlying message of joy that is inherent in this sacred season, which is often covered over with persistent commercialism, the stress of holiday expectations and the grief of lost loved ones and cherished traditions.

Barbara Dunn will provide the musical inspiration and Joy Williams will be the platform assistant.

All are welcome. The service is 10 a.m. Sunday at Unity’s church at 5671 Crawford Road.
