Next Music Together session starts soon

January 16, 2012 · Updated 8:07 AM

The 2012 winter session of Music Together starts Jan. 17 in Langley.

Music Together is for children from birth to 5 years old and their adult caregivers, and is based on the premise that all children are musical and that parents and other primary caregivers play a crucial role in their child’s musical development. Music educator Jess Foley leads 10 weekly, 45-minute classes of songs, rhymes, movement and instrument play. These activities are presented as playful, non-performance-oriented musical experiences — appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers.

Music Together is at 10:15 a.m. Tuesdays through March 20 at the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District building at 5475 Maxwelton Road.

Register online at www.musictogetherwhidbey.com or by calling 221-5484.
