Whidbey students earn honors at WSU | KUDOS

Ten students from South Whidbey have earned academic honors at Washington State University and have been named to the president’s honor roll for the 2011 fall semester.

The local scholars are Eva Louise Denka, Dylan Arthur Fate, Christine Virginia Johnson and Amanda Elizabeth Strempel, of Clinton; Courtney Kathleen Bosman, Hillary B. Mellish and Lauren Christiana Sandri, Langley; Alissa S. Coupe and Elizabeth Marie Lutch, Freeland; and Rachel Michelle Escalle, Greenbank.

To be eligible for the honor roll, undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of nine graded hours in a single term at WSU and earn a grade point average of 3.75 or earn a 3.5 cumulative GPA based on 15 cumulative hours of graded work.
