WIWA starts Saturday series

The Whidbey Island Writers Association will start its spring schedule with a February workshop.
Chris Thorsen will lead “Sourcing Spirit for the Writer’s Quest” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 in the Fireside Room at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeland.
Larry Cheek teaches “Writing Nonfiction: Embryo to First Paragraph” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Coupeville Library.
