Langley CMA tackles tough questions Sunday

February 11, 2012 · 9:42 AM

Pastor Dwight Ford will speak to the question, “Why are Christians Such Hypocrites?” at the Sunday service at Langley CMA Church.

The question is often heard when the subject of religion in America comes up and the answer is seldom heard.

Approximately 86 percent of Americans refer to themselves as religious, and 75 percent of all Americans consider themselves Christians.

However, we live in an age where science and secularism have raised some serious questions. Questions like: Isn’t the Bible just a collections of myths? Why does the Christian faith seem like a straight jacket that tries to end what little joy there is in this life?

The service begins at 10:30 a.m.

Also at the church, the community kitchen is open from noon to 1:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, and preschool is held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during the school year with activities for all ages throughout the week.
