Rev. McDowell helps to ‘Praise the Love’

February 25, 2012 · 9:29 AM

At the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Whidbey Island service on Sunday, Rev. Carmen McDowell will consider the premise that “Love is greater than fear; love always has the last word.”

But this love is not a sweet greeting card sentiment; rather, it is a fierce conviction which can change the world.

McDowell is the transitional minister at Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Wenatchee.

All are welcome. Values-based children’s religious exploration classes and childcare will be provided. The service is at 10 a.m. at 20103 Highway 525, just north of Freeland. Check www.whidbey.com/uucwi for more information.
