Enjoy Lenten soup supper, Taize and more
February 28, 2012 · 7:12 AM
All are invited to share in a soup supper at 6 p.m. each Wednesday during Lent, through April 4, at St. Hubert Catholic Church in Langley.
Bring some soup or bread and join the sharing. Following the meal, at 7 p.m. there will be a special Lenten prayer experience.
On the two Lenten First Wednesdays, March 7 and April 4, Taize will follow the soup supper from 7 to 8 p.m. The group will gather together around the cross to sing simple chants, pray scripture, enter into sacred silence and pray for healing, peace and reconciliation.
The church is located at 804 Third St. The parish office may be reached at 221-5383.
