Soroptimists dine, listen to sheriff

The Soroptimists International of South Whidbey Island club will hold their monthly program meeting Thursday, April 19, at the Useless Bay Country Club from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The club social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The charge for dinner is $20, cash or check.

Island County Sheriff Mark Brown will speak to the state of the county law enforcement and the challenges in unincorporated Island County. There will be time allowed for questions. Call 331-4127.
