Garden club hears of delightful trees

South Whidbey Garden Club meets at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 20, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Clinton. The doors open at 9 a.m.

For April only, the program will start the meeting promptly at 9:30 a.m. with the business meeting following at 10:30 a.m. Refreshments will be provided and the public is welcome to attend.

June Davis, a horticulturist and owner of The June Garden, a landscape consulting business, will speak about “Delightful Small Trees, Conifers and Their Shrub Companions.” Her lectures are said to provide the listener with valuable gardening information and inspiration.
