Molly Cook offers writing workshop

April 17, 2012 · Updated 3:17 PM

Zen and the Art of Writing will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 20 at the Coupeville Library.

The power of observation is the stuff of life for successful writers. Join Molly Cook for this contemplative workshop, where writers will deepen their ability to see, capture and use the “telling details” in fiction, nonfiction and poetry with writing exercises and learn a simple drawing technique (no experience necessary).

The workshop is sponsored by Whidbey Island Arts Council with Skylark Writing Studio.

Cost of the workshop is $48 and pre-registration is necessary. To register, email Molly at jazzcookie@frontier.com or call 360-678-3042.

New writers are welcome.
